Keep growing, Keep going
At Innate Motion, we believe that human growth is the engine of business transformation. As we approach 20 years as a company of Business Humanizers, we’ve learned that growth isn’t always easy—it’s emotional, messy, and deeply human. It comes with fatigue, friction, and even identity shifts. But in the discomfort, we find renewal. In resistance, we find evolution.
This reflection invites leaders and changemakers to embrace adaptive leadership, to stretch through uncertainty, and to choose care over control. Because when we keep growing, we shape a more conscious, connected, and purpose-driven business culture.
Are you ready to stretch?

Keep growing, Keep going
As we approach our 20th year as a company of Business Humanizers, and as I near that reflective “what have I become?” stage of life, this question keeps surfacing. It won’t leave me alone. Here’s what I’m learning.
Learning #1 Growth comes with emotional fatigue.
You’re not tired because you’re failing. You’re tired because you’re stretching.Because you’re leading. Because you care.
You’re growing yourself while supporting others through change. That’s emotional labor, and it often goes unseen. The weight isn’t in the task list; it’s in the care. It’s not weakness. It’s the cost of showing up with your whole self.
And yes, it builds up. Even the most purpose-driven among us can burn out without space for renewal. Let’s not forget: self-compassion is part of the work.
Learning #2 Growth creates friction.
It’s the rub between who you are and who you’re becoming.Between what works now and what might be needed next.Between your hunger for momentum and the fog of uncertainty.
It’s the shift from solving problems to evolving through them. That’s the difference between technical change and adaptive growth. Actually, this is where leadership lives.
Learning #3 Growth threatens identity before it strengthens it.
To grow, you often have to let go.
A belief.A habit.A version of yourself that once fit.
It’s disorienting. Sometimes painful. But on the other side of that stretch?
Renewal. Not the polished kind. The honest, expanded kind.
Learning #4 Growth is hard because our systems resist it.
Let’s be real: most organizations, habits, even relationships, aren’t built for evolution. They’re built to maintain themselves.
So when you try to grow, you’ll likely meet resistance. From others, sure. But often, it comes from within.
That’s not sabotage. It’s your system doing its job: trying to protect what feels stable.
But stability isn’t the same as vitality.
Learning #5 Business culture doesn’t make it easier.
We reward speed, clarity, and control. But human growth? That takes ambiguity, pause, and reflection.
You can feel like you’re swimming upstream, just to stay human in a culture obsessed with efficiency.
So why keep going?
Because shrinking feels safe, yet leads to stuckness.Because shrinking might get applause, yet it slowly erodes you.
Because when you grow, others feel it too.It creates permission. Possibility. Connection.
Because we’re standing at a turning point where more people choose
growth over fear, curiosity over certainty, and care over control.
Here’s my question to you: Are you ready to stretch? To stay open, even when it’s hard?To keep growing, even when it’s slow?
Or will you shrink?
My advice is to consider holding both.
Because most days, it’s not one or the other. It’s a dance between the two. The magic is in choosing to stretch again tomorrow.
